# v1.6.0

### What's new

The [Scan ID](/platform/capabilities/scan-id) capability now uses [BlinkID v7.6.0](/blinkid/release-notes/7.6.0).
That release adds support for scanning the barcode page of US passports.

Later v1.6 patches on Web:

- v1.6.1 adds support for the lightweight BlinkID build.
- v1.6.2 fixes the camera preview shifting on the selfie face-match step in Safari on iOS.
- v1.6.3 improves the default camera choice and extends the document scanning timeout from 10 seconds to 25 seconds.
- v1.6.6 improves the feedback shown while scanning the last passport page that contains a barcode.
