# Webhooks

You can use webhooks to get notified when specific events happen in your organization's workflows.

Currently supported events:

- transaction started
- transaction finished
- a user has been flagged by [continuous watchlist monitoring](./capabilities/pep-aml-am-checks.md)

To create a webhook, in the management interface, open settings, then open **Webhooks**, then **Create new webhook**.

You'll need to specify the following:

- Endpoint URL: this is the URL to which the webhook will be sent.
  This should be an accessible server that accepts POST requests.
- Description
- Events to track: pick which of the events you want to get notifications for.
- Additional configuration: rate limiting.

A typical webhook looks like this:
